S&A worked with property owners, residents, businesses and organizations to rezone a block of California Avenue SW in West Seattle's Admiral neighborhood from NC1-30 to NC2-40. The rezone area was 152,000 square feet and consisted of 30 parcels.
The rezone was part of an effort to encourage more housing and business investment in the neighborhood and strengthen the Admiral Residential Urban Village.
The two-year process resulted in favorable rulings by the Director of Planning and Development, Hearing Examiner and City Council. The rezone was approved and adopted.
