Public meetings and hearings provide opportunities for people to learn more, share ideas and interact directly with project staff. They are excellent ways to engage the public.
S&A Communications has planned and implemented more than 100 public meetings and hearings. For the City of Seattle’s open house to kick off the planning and environmental review of the Broadway Streetcar Extension, we developed 11 display boards, a project fact sheet, and a survey designed to gauge community priorities. We also created and distributed an invitation to organizations and developed a door hanger that we distributed along the Broadway Extension project area.
S&A also arranged for interpreters to support deaf and blind individuals attending the meeting.
